Studio or location shoots can be booked for various purposes, from corporate profile photos, to engagement shoots, to family photos, and many more. This is the procedure to book a shoot:
Decide whether you'd like to shoot in studio, or on location.
If you need photos done for a specific purpose, like an artist who needs photos for a CD cover, I will require a detailed brief to ensure we're on the same page, and to enable me to meet (and hopefully exceed) your expectations.
The studio is situated in Beverley Gardens, Randburg. I will send you the address as soon as the booking is confirmed.
Choose a date, and confirm that I am available on that day. When shooting outdoors, it's always best to shoot just before sunset, ensuring soft, beautiful light instead of harsh midday sun. Studio sessions can be booked at any time during the week and on Saturday mornings, provided the studio is available.
Pay a non refundable booking fee of R400. The booking fee is deducted off your final invoice, but will be forfeited if the shoot is postponed or cancelled.
Settle the final invoice on the day of the shoot.
When shooting in studio, you're welcome to bring a few outfits so that we can create different looks and give you a variety of photographs.
A makeup artist is available for an additional fee of R400.
An hour's photo shoot is R1500. Travel is included up to 50km return, and it's R3.50 per km after that. The price includes 30 high resolution, edited images on disc (in the case of corporate portraiture, we may take fewer photos). After the shoot, you will be sent a link to an online proofing gallery, where you get to choose your top 30 images to be included on disc. Should you wish to purchase extra images, you're welcome to do so at R10 per high resolution digital image.
The final disc and photos can be collected a week after the photo shoot. Please call Marinda on 083 280 4468, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you'd like more information, or if you would like to book.
