So here we are, our new site has finally launched. Sho, what a journey it's been. I spent many long hours uploading and fixing and fine-tuning it to get it where I wanted it to be. The old site was nice; pretty even, but it lacked functionality and I realised it was time to get with times. Anyone who has ever redesigned a website knows how crazy you have to be to even consider doing it. You kinda close your eyes, jump in, regret it halfway through, and eventually relax when you realise it was the right thing to do.
These are some of the new features that have been added that will improve functionality and hopefully lead to a more satisfying client experience:
Client Access galleries that are password secured.
Corporate clients will have the option to buy digital downloadable images taken at their events. Images will be priced according to size, and they can buy high res, medium res, and e-mail size photos.
Eventually all images in the Fine Art gallery will be for sale, keep watching this space...
Galleries are easier to navigate, and there is the option to switch to a slideshow when viewing each gallery.

A clean layout that's beautiful and functional too.
Fast loading images (there's nothing worse than waiting...and waiting...and waiting for images to load).
There is a search function you can use to look for specific images.
We're also running a competition to celebrate the launch of the site. The person who writes the best entry in the guestbook wins himself an hour's shoot.
I'm open to all constructive comments, I want this site to be a painless portfolio/selling gateway for our clients.
